Mveledzo is a community organisation (section 21) based in Alexandra, Johannesburg running four different operations: a recycling and buy-back centre; a canteen and catering facility based on the premises of Vital couriers in Jet Park, east of Johannesburg; a state of the art truck wash facility, also on the premises of Vital couriers and we have a food garden and cleanup operations in Alexandra.

We play a significant role in cleaning up the Jukskei river that runs through the township, harnessing the resourcefulness of our local community.

We have an established and fully mechanised buy-back and recycle centre in the heart of Alexandra. From here we manage waste recycling from source to mainstream waste convertors. Our penetration goes beyond Alexandra, covering Sandton and Wynberg and we are flexible enough to adjust to fluctuating demand and supply dynamics in the area.
