Dumalibo assists corporate structures with recycling their recyclable waste and thereby becoming part of the green revolution.
We aim to uncover innovative ways to educate society about recycling and create links within our communities whereby we assist each other in creating a sustainable culture within the corporate entities that exist. We would like to assist every corporation, family and individual to welcome recycling as a solution rather than an obligation. We endeavour to create an efficient society that will ensure that the waste that they create is re-used or recycled back into the system.

In association with Mveledzo, a community organisation (section 21) based in Alexandra, we recycle all goods collected. This organisation uses this process to create employment and give back to their local community.
We have long-standing arrangements with 20 informal collectors, waste suppliers and upstream, waste convertors as well as some of the major waste collectors in the area, such as:
- Consol (glass)
- Mondi (paper, cans and cardboard)
- Distell (glass)
- Nampak
- Jabulani (plastic)
- Reclaim (scrap metal)
- Remade (plastic)
It is our goal to increase our waste stream in the short term (over the next two years) to exceed 200 tons per month. This is no small feat and will require investment not only in people (we foresee doubling the number of informal collectors over this period), but also embarking on a local marketing campaign.
